# Link a bracelet or tag

Ten-character code on the item; multiple items OK.

Open [Link a bracelet or tag](https://app.wearabledocs.com/hardware/link).

Enter the **ten-character code** printed on the item, beside the square symbol. Capitals and the dash are optional. **0 and 1 are digits**, never the letters O or I.

Once linked, scanning that item opens this record.

## More than one item

Fine. A bracelet and a spare can both point here. If you lose one, contact support so that code can be withdrawn and stops working.

## Wallet card

Your free printable wallet card already works and carries its own code. Linking steel does not change the card.

## Plan and hardware

Hardware is yours even if you cancel the subscription later. When the paid period ends, the code stops showing a live directive until you restart. Codes are not reissued to someone else. See [Cancel, renew, and failed payment](https://wearabledocs.com/help/billing/cancel-and-renew).
