Digital certificate
Proof of what you filed, and when
Every document you upload gets a certificate: the date we received it, its digital fingerprint, and a seal from an independent service, anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain.
What the certificate records
One page that shows exactly what you filed and when it arrived.
- The date received
- When your signed document reached us, in your own time zone.
- A digital fingerprint
- A SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact file. Change a single pixel and it no longer matches.
- An outside seal
- The fingerprint is signed by an independent timestamping service the moment you file.
- Anchored to Bitcoin
- The seal is anchored in a Bitcoin block, where the date cannot be edited or backdated.
- Nothing private leaves
- Only the fingerprint is sent out. No page, no name and no part of your document.
- Every version
- Amend your document and the new version gets a certificate of its own.
One page, kept with your document
Download it from your account any time, print it, and keep it with the signed original.

- A sheet of its own
- The certificate is separate from your document, so your document stays exactly as you signed it.
- Anyone can check it
- The fingerprint and the seal can be checked with free tools, without a WearableDocs account.
- Your file, unchanged
- We store your document exactly as it was received and never alter it.
- Ready when you need it
- If you ever need to show what you filed and when, the certificate is ready to print.
- The proof, named
- The certificate names the proof page where the seal can be looked up.
